About The Company In 1989 Rapid Services was formed to fill a void in the data management industry. Small to medium size businesses had no affordable outlet to turn to for their relatively small requirements of data entry and database management. By 1991, due to the requests of existing customers, Rapid Services expanded to include the compiling of their own database consisting of the immediate counties. The database was built using many sources and public records including property, loan/lien, voter, auto, driver and many more. In late 1992 Rapid Services, filling yet another void in the small to medium business services industry, formed Rapid Mailing Services. Rapid Mailing offers complete mailing solutions from design to drop, all done in house. With 100% sales increases the first 2 years, the original facilities of Rapid Services were too small by 1994. Increasing sales required a second location, however 68 - 100% sales increases outgrew this additional facility. In 1996 the company was moved to yet another location. Once again, sales increases and customer demand would transport us to our present, custom facility located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Rapid Mailing Services has been a U.S. Postal Service Business Partner since 1993 and feels this relationship is very beneficial to Rapid's customers who are assured that their mail will be handled correctly and speed through the system to its final destination.
Rapid Services has now reached the point where it can capitalize on
strong vertical markets that require fast, accurate and affordable direct
mail solutions. Company Background The company was formed with extensive experience in computers and the latest technology in data management. Continued growth has been achieved through adding additional services and products directly related to the customers advertising programs.
Although Rapid Mailing Services was created to cater to the small to
medium business, today our clients range from small, local establishments to
large conglomerates. The mailing could be as small as 500 pieces or as
large as 5,000,000. The piece could be a simple one color postcard or a
full 4 color brochure. All of these situations require numerous steps: ·
Design
and layout is required using a design program and printed using high quality
printers. ·
A
print shop will take the finished 'art' and print it to the customer
specifications. ·
A
list will have to be ordered and printed on labels. ·
The
piece may have to be folded, inserted, or tabbed. ·
The
labels will have to be attached to the mailer. ·
The
mailing must now be presorted (unless first class 41¢ postage stamps are
placed on each piece). · Proper postal paperwork will be completed and the mail then taken to the appropriate post office. In some cases the business person would provide some or all of this labor. This is not always cost effective or the best use of a business persons time. With everything under one
roof, Rapid Mailing Services can cost effectively handle any size mailing. Home About The
